Katy Perry Hosts Spotify Pre-Grammys Bash

Katy Perry delivered as promised -- an intimate Grammy party for artists and creators free of red carpet interviews and entourages.
Shay Holland was there to cover the event for SpyGame Studios.
Held in downtown LA at Cicada Restaurant, even the red carpet was discreetly shielded from street view by rows of trees. Most guests slipped through a private garage entrance so there were far fewer photo opportunities than at a typical Grammy event.
Katy came out to the red carpet with a representative from party sponsor, Spotify, as did co-host Sia. Other famous faces included singers Fergie and Miguel.
One photographer claims to have spotted Adele at the private entrance but no confirmation on whether or not she attended.
Some emerging artists were overlooked by the press simply because their faces are not yet familiar and publicists were not present to give notes to the media behind the velvet rope.
Despite her star power, Katy fulfilled her desire for a low-wattage night for her guests to share creative ideas.
